Serius 1 - 1 Cantana

After watching Ace and Zain tied up to 1-1 last week in Matchday 2, another Group D match today between Serius and Cantana resulting the same display. Cantana pull the result to 1-0 before the halftime before Serius level it up by the second half. Both teams shown a good ball possesion as they get the equal domination of the game. Cantana off to a flyers when they got a penalty after a foul by Serius player in penalty box, and Abdul Muizz Ismail finish the task to beat Serius goalkeeper Azrul Hayat for Cantana owning goal. Stunned by the goal, Serius make some attacking movement toward Cantana goal, but all the movement lead by striker Shaiful Anuar Azmi freezed out by Cantana defender Zaiful Iqmal and Yasir Yashiq. Cantana also got some chance to elaborate the score as Abdul Muizz Ismail again being a threat to Serius, but the good perfomance shown by Azrul Hayat keep the scoreline until half time. A chaotic situation in front of Cantana goal, give a chance to Shaiful Anuar to make a close-range effort and it was well struck into the back of the net for the equaliser. The week 2 of Utp Soccer League 2011 season begin with Matchday #4 fixture Group A clash between last season finalist Facebook and debutant East Coast. As one of the favourite teams for the season, Facebook past the pundit expectations by winning the game but they surely want to win the game with a bigger margin as East Coast provide a real threats today with the balance attacking movement and ball possesion between the two sides. East Coast start the roars on the earlier minute when 23m freekick from captain Saifulizmin Mustapha inches away from the post. They also another after that but Muhammad Amin shot in the penalty area goes wide. Facebook continue the attacking action with Fatimie Irzaq freekick from outside penalty area goes straight to the goal but the effort save by East Coast keeper Izwan Paim. An nice cross by Hafiz Kamal from right flank nearly set East Coast on flyers but Muhammad Amin heading again goes above the post. Facebook also got some chance to score as Salmi Othman freekick hit the walls and a very good cross from Fatimie Irzaq well intercepted by East Coast goalkeeper as he put the good performance by saving some other effort from Facebook attackers. Facebook finally gain their lead when substituteFaiz Udin well struck effort put the ball at the back of the net after chaos situation in front of East Coast goal. As East put all their effort to level the score, Facebook got another great chance when a nice movement and ball control skills shown by Facebook strikers Muhammad Khouna give a chance for Syahid Hanan to shoot directly to the goal but his shot goes straight to the goalkeeper. Borneo and Blackhawk were held to scoreless draw in Sunday action, Matchday 3 group C clash while Diao and Onitsuka Tigers also held to 2-2 draw. Borneo, a team that combined all player fron East Malaysia lead by captain Johnny Kujin begin were unable to bring down Blackhawk force. Both of the teams have equal possesion of the ball, and manage to bring some attacking movement toward opposite goal but lack of composure from the attackers and good performance by the goalkeeper make them unable to registered in scoresheet. Blackhawk attackers lead by Sharifuddin Rasid, failed to produce something with the chances the got in front of Borneo goal, while Borneo move that generate by ex-Kaiser player Flirony Gungat were unable to beat Blackhawk goalkeeper Zulhilmi Bachok for a goal. First match on Matchday 3, Group A clash between Diao and Onitsuka Tigers has been one of most tremendous and sensional match so far in Utp Soccer League 2011 season. Diao, last season quarter-finalist nearly shocked two-time finalist Onitsuka Tigers after leading 2-1 before 85th minute Nik Asmadi goal tied up the score. On the earlier minute, Onitsuka started the attacking move when Ahmad Sollehin Nordin nearly gave the team owning goal after get past through the Diao's defender but his shot goes wide. Diao also get the chance to score the goal earlier when Ammar Aziz round up Onitsuka goalkeeper Hafiz Ibrahim but his shot to the open goal blocked by Onitsuka defender and corner kick gave to Diao. The corner kick taken by Wan Muhammad Faris Ahci give Diao the first goal after the ball deflecting Onitsuka defender for an own goal. Stunned by the goal, Onitsuka make some attacking move toward Diao goalkeeper, but all the attack freezed by Diao defender, lead by commanding centre back captain, Amri Azri Zulkifli. A great perfomance also shown by right defender Faez Aziz that severally stop attacking flow to the left flank. Onitsuka finally got the goal they waiting for after Abu Yazid Zainuddin long range shot from outside penalty area goes wildly to Diao goal, and Diao goalkeeper Zamri Ismail try to put ball out before it goes it hit the post and goes in. In off the post!. As they are tied up with 1-1 the teams make more attacking move in order to lead the game, and Onitsuka attacker Syarul Akmal nearly give the leading goal for Onitsuka but his shot from the edge of penalty area well save by Zamri Ismail. Diao also got the chance when the striker, Amin Fahim got to shot freely in the penalty box, but the shot hit off the crossbar. Amin Fahim got another chance when a nice pass from Faris Ahci give him a space to blast a shot beating Onitsuka goalkeeper Hafiz Ibrahim for Diao second goal. The first half ended up with Diao leading 2-1. Second half begin with Diao controlling over the ball possesion and manage to make some move toward Onitsuka goal. Onitsuka also make some fast attacking move to find equaliser goal, but the effectiveness of offside trap by Diao defender stop them. Onitsuka got some chances to equalise, but the good performance shown by Zamri Ismail to save dangerous shots from Ahmad Sollehin and Abu Yazid. Onitsuka have to play with ten player in the pitch after their substitute, Afiq Azreen shown a red card by refferee because of violent behaviour over Diao defender, Qhaizul Azmi. Lot of injury of players in the match make the referree to add 7 minute extra time. As Diao seems to celebrate their win, a counter attack move by Ahmad Sollehin to the right flank, past of Diao defender and he manage to cross the ball to penalty area, before it well headed by Nik Asmadi to the back of the net for Onitsuka late equaliser.
