Matchday #15 : Azzuri finally lose after two years

A really stunning, tremendous evening last Sunday, seeing the defending four time champion Azzuri lose for the first time after two years to Cemac in Group C Matchday #15 clash. Azzuri, which labelled as the strongest team in USL lastly defeated by Galacticos before, in Utp Soccer League 2009 season and Cemac which has lose to Azzuri last season, came for their revenge and win by 2-1. As predicted, the match provided plenty of attacking action and very good performance from both teams. The game started with high tempo played by both team, which witnesses some of goal attempts by both teams as after the kickoff. Azzuri , however, being the first off to the flyers after nice passing movement played by Ahmed Mohamed , Ibrahim Badi and Leder Gunther which giving overlapping Ibrahim Badi to releasing a strike in penalty box, but the shot deflected by Afa Mahfouz for an own goal. Azzuri got a few chances later to extend the lead but Tebogo Matjeke half volley in front of goal saved by the goalkeeper and another shot from him blocked by Ala Mahfouz just inches from goal line. Being down by one goal, Cemac strengthen their attack, generated by ex-Azzuri player Meserep Nasir to find the equaliser. Cemac finally get the golden opportunity after Meserep Nasir was tackled in penalty box by Azzuri defender Ruslan Yapa which seeing referree giving penalty to Cemac. Mario Makako completed the task, beating Decha Bueraheng for Cemac equaliser. The score remain until half time. After the break, both team seemed pretty balanced in controlling the game and get some chances to gain the lead. The deadlock finally break after Cemac 's Celso well struck effort after receiving superb through pass from midfield hitting the back of the net, giving Cemac the winning goal. Stunned by the goal , Azzuri try to bounce back and the get some opportunity to score but all wasted. The game being pretty tense after players from both team Ahmad Makine and Abdulloh Madthing, receiving red card for violent behaviour. Just before the final whistle blown, great back to back attacking action displayed, started by Azzuri's Hasan Osman head from Ahmed freekick goes wide and Cemac counter attack after that giving Messi a chance to shot, but his shot also goes wide. Cesar wasted very great opportunity for Cemac has a free shot in the six yard box, but Decha Bueraheng doing a very good job with fantastic save to deflected the ball away. Azzuri has another chance after that but Hassan shot well read by the keeper while Messi also has the chance on the other side of the pitch but his shot way over. Leder Gunther ended the back to back shot after his shot from long range hit the crossbar and final whistle blown, ended two years Azzuri invicible record. Final Score : Cemac 2-1 Azzuri
